Subsea 7 extends charter of Solstad Offshore OSV

Subsea 7 has extended its charter of Solstad Offshore’s multipurpose offshore support vessel (OSV) Normand Subsea for a further three and a half years, plus a two-year extension option.

No commercial terms were disclosed for the extension period, which will commence in June.

Normand Subsea has been on contract with Subsea 7 since 2009 and is built to perform offshore inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) work.

Earlier today, Subsea 7 announced it has won a two-year extension to an existing contract for subsea construction and IMR services for BP in the North Sea.
