Oslo-listed offshore vessel owner DOF has announced that DOF Subsea has reached an agreement with Subsea 7 regarding charter renewals for three of its vessels.
Subsea 7 has signed a new 3-year firm period contact for 2008-built ROV construction support vessel Skandi Acergy, a direct continuation of the current contract which will see the vessel chartered until August 2019.
Anchor handling tug supply vessel Skandi Skansen also has a new contract which will see it utilised by Subsea 7 through most of the 2016 summer season.
Lastly, construction support vessel Skandi Seven will be not be renewed and will be redelivered to DOF on January 1, 2016. The company says that it has several chartered in vessels that can be redelivered to owners through the course of the next year, which will compensate for the redelivery of Skandi Seven.
