Suez bunkering facility gets green light

Cairo: Al Mashreq Petroleum Company signed yesterday an agreement for a period of 25 years with the Egyptian government, under which the company begins the implementation of the first project of its kind in Egypt, to establish an integrated terminal for storage, handling bulk liquid products and bunkering.

This project is based in East Port Said Port, which is located to the north of the Suez Canal, and the project comes within Egyptian government plans for developing the banks of the Suez Canal territory, a scheme to generate income of up to $100bn.  [14/05/13]
