Singapore: Fast growing Swire Pacific Offshore (SPO) has ordered four more platform supply vessels (PSVs) at Japan Marine United, according to a release on the shipbuilder’s website.
The 4,000 dwt quartet are due for delivery from the group’s Yokohama yard from September 2016. The shipbuilder is now contracted to deliver a total of 14 ships to SPO.
Speaking to our sister site Maritime CEO last week SPO managing director Neil Glenn outlined how the company’s fleet was changing as it neared the 100-ship mark. [28/04/14]
