SwissMarine offloads baby cape

Dry cargo mammoth SwissMarine has sold a modern unit,  fetching $45m for a ship it paid $50m for when ordered in Japan back in 2013. The sale of the one-year-old Choully, described as a firm price by brokers, was expected as the ship has been in the shop window for a few weeks.

The buyer of the ship is believed to be Greek player Seanergy Maritime.

Brokers anticipate more ship sales by SwissMarine in the coming months.
