Tanker calls at Hariga as eastern Libya reopens for oil trades

Tripoli: A tanker called legally in eastern Libya yesterday for the first time since last summer as the government has taken control of formerly rebel held oil terminals towards the Egyptian border.

The Aegean Dignity arrived at the Hariga terminal yesterday to load 1m barrels of crude for shipment to Italy.

Hariga and Zueitina ports are now open, however Es Sider, Libya’s largest terminal, and Ras Lanuf remain shut.  [16/04/14]
