Tankerska Plovidba sells suezmax to Eurotankers

Brokers tell Splash that Tankerska Plovidba has offloaded the 12-year-old Brodosplit-built 166,000 dwt Hrvatska for a price just in excess of $20m. Greek owner Eurotankers is tipped as the buyer.

This is the second aframax the Greek outfit is listed buying this year. In comparison, the Croatian owner has stayed away both from selling and buying for the past couple of years.

If the sale is completed Tankerska Plovidba will be left with two aframaxes and two suezmaxes that are on average some years younger then the elderly workhorse just sold. In addition to its tankers Tankerska Plovidba has a bulker fleet about twice the size of its tanker division.
