Tarbit Shipping books up to four dual fuel chemical tankers at Yangzijiang

Swedish owner Tarbit Shipping has placed an order at China’s Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for the construction of up to four LNG dual fuel chemical tankers.

Shipbroking house Clarksons reported that the four 13,000 dwt tankers will be built at New Yangzijiang yard and delivery are scheduled in 2022.

It is also Yangzijiang’s first ever LNG-powered tanker order.

Tarbit Shipping currently operates a fleet of three clean petroleum product tankers and ten high heat tankers.
