Team Tankers sheds two more

Oslo-listed Team Tankers is shedding elderly tankers. Brokers report that the company has sold two ships, the Sichem Sparrrow and her sister Sichem Comibri to an unidentified Asian account.  The two 14-year-old ships that have gone for $5.5m each.

Team Tankers has quietly sold a handful of elderly ships since September last year. The Morten Arntzen-led firm’s fleet consists now of around 35 ships. Its chemical tankers range from 3,500 dwt to 46,000 dwt with an average fleet age of less than 10 years.
