Doha: A tender has gone out for infrastructure companies to bid for various port buildings, landscaping and infrastructure at Doha’s New Port to the south of the city. The $7.4bn port project, first announced in 2007, is set to be one of the largest port complexes in the region when finally complete. The tender is open until mid-January with the winner to be announced in February. [31/12/13]
