Thalkat adds Japanese supramax

Hiroshima-based Hisafu Kisen has sold the 11-year-old supramax Santa Isabella for a price in the high $8ms to Thalkat Shipping of Greece. The 55,862 dwt vessel gives Thalkat a total of four ships in its all bulker fleet, and is the largest to date.

Formed in 1972, Thalkat says on its site it normally likes to operate between two to four ships at any given time.
