Singapore: Leading ship manager and services company Thome Group has set up a new office in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Thai operation was set up for the group's agency business, Thome Ship Agency, and commenced earlier this week. It is intended to be one of a series of offices, leading to Thome becoming a regional agency organisation.
Thome Group President Claes Eek Thorstensen said: “Owners with vessels calling at the major ports in Thailand can now use the high quality and cost effective services of Thome Agency and I believe our agency business will grow further to become a strong part of our cornerstone activities in Asia and further afield.”
The office is the first for Thome Ship Agency outside of Singapore. [04/12/12]
