Thygesen to chair Maersk Supply Service

Henriette Thygesen, a 25-year Maersk veteran, has been tapped to lead the company’s 44-strong fleet of offshore support vessels.

Thygesen, currently CEO of Svitzer, will become chairman of Maersk Supply Service from the start of next month as Claus Hemmingsen leaves the group.

Maersk had earmarked its OSV division as for sale, but changed this decision at the end of March this year. The fleet is made of anchor handlers, subsea support vessels and platform supply vessels.
