Tianhai Investment appoints new president

HNA-affilated Tianhai Investment, formerly Tianjin Marine, has announced that the board has appointed Liu Xiaoyong as the new president of the company, with former president Guo Ke stepping down to vice president.

Liu, 54, used to serve as president of Bohai Leasing and was managing director of HNA Capital. Now he also serves as managing director of HNA Logistics.

Tianhai Investment made plans to move into the VLCC and LNG sector, and is currently inviting tenders for the construction four VLCCs.
