Dalian: Tianjin Xingang Shipyard is build the world’s largest civilian hospital ship. Deltamarin is designing the 37,000 grt vessel which has been ordered by Mercy Ships. The ship’s construction will be managed by StenaRoRo. It is expected to deliver in mid-2017.
The 174 m long ship will be able to carry 950 people and will house two hospital decks. [28/02/14]
