Tiger Subsea Services behind Ultra Deep Solutions DSCV charters

Louisiana-based subsea startup Tiger Subsea Services has been revealed as the charterer behind recent announcements by Singapore’s Ultra Deep Solutions of long-term charters for DSCVs Picasso and Lichtenstein.
Late last year, Shel Hutton’s Ultra Deep Solutions announced a four-year charter for newbuild Picasso and a three-year charter for Lichtenstein which is coming off contract in Iran. Both vessels are now confirmed on charter to Tiger Subsea Services via their website.
Tiger Subsea Services was founded in 2017, and as well as the two DSCVs its fleet list includes a liftboat scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2018.
Ultra Deep Solutions has been undergoing a rapid fleet buildup, with six DSCVs now confirmed in its newbuild programme as well as a well intervention vessel (with plans to order five in total).
Splash understands the company is currently in negotiations with Chinese yards to order two more vessels.
