Shanghai: Blue Star Line chairman Clive Palmer has announced the shipping company has engaged Tillberg Design of Sweden to provide architectural and design services for the interior of the Titanic II project being built at China’s CSC Jinling Shipyard.
Titanic II is scheduled to sail from Southampton to New York on her maiden passenger voyage in 2016.
Fredrik Johansson, Tillberg Design of Sweden partner and senior architect, said: “The whole concept of building a period replica is naturally to give an experience that is as close to the original as possible.” [28/05/13]
