Tina Revsbech departs BW Tankers

BW Group has confirmed that Tina Revsbech has left her role as CEO of BW Tankers.

“BW and Tina parted ways very amicably and we are grateful for her leadership when she was with us. Her contributions will continue to be felt and appreciated for a long time,” a spokesperson told Splash.

Revsbech had been in the role since August 2016, and departs as BW continues negotiations with Hafnia Tankers over a takeover. BW upped its stake in Hafnia to 43.5% last month and earlier this week Hafnia confirmed consolidation discussions were taking place.

BW Group CEO Carsten Mortensen has taken over as acting CEO of BW Tankers.

“Everything remains business as usual at BW Tankers,” the company said.
