Toisa nails another charter

Toisa, a shipowning vehicle owned by Greek magnate Gregory Callimanopulos that sought chapter 11 protection in the US two months ago, has managed to get oil major Chevron to agree to ratify a charter for the United Ideal tanker to cover a 30-day voyage from the Arabian Gulf to South Africa.

Earlier this month, Toisa’s vessel United Journey was released by Citibank and fixed on a charter as the company plots survival.
