Greek tanker owner Top Ships has secured a contract from BP Shipping to extend the firm period of time charter for MR1 tanker Eco Fleet for six months.
for six months.BP Shipping originally contracted the vessel in July 2015 for a firm period of three years.
Following the signing of the contract extension, charter coverage percentage of the company’s operating fleet has hit 100%.
Top Ships currently operates a fleet of six tankers with another two newbuildings under construction expected to join the company’s fleet this year.
