Copenhagen: Torm’s mission to focus on tankers at the expense of bulkers has resulted in another sale. Brokers say Chartworld has bought the the five-year-old, 82,000 dwt Torm Trader for $16.5m.
Torm Trader is one of eight bulkers debt ridden Torm has listed on its website.
Torm has said it plans to scale down bulk activities in favour of tankers with the eventual aim of being a pure product tanker firm.
