Transocean semi-submersible awarded 13-well contract by ConocoPhillips

Offshore driller Transocean has been awarded a contract by ConocoPhillips for a campaign in the UK North Sea utilising semisubmersible rig Transocean 712 .

The 13-well contract commences in March 2019 and is expected to have a duration of around 580 days.

Transocean says the contract value is around $75m, and includes an additional one-well option.
