Dalian: Cosco Shipyard Group has received three orders worth $380m. Cosco Dalian Shipyard has bagged a pair of LeTourneau Super 116E jackup drilling rigs, scheduled for delivery in 2016 from a Bermuda owner, thought to be John Fredriksen’s Seadrill, a regular customer in Dalian.
Meanwhile, an unspecified European owner has firmed up an order for a 64,000 dwt bulker at Cosco Zhoushan Shipyard. The vessel will be delivered in the second half of next year. [15/11/13]
