Triyards diversifies further to win $45.5m worth of new contracts

Singapore-listed Triyards Holdings has announced that it has won a series of new contracts worth $45.5m in the offshore oil and gas sector.

The new contracts are to build a scientific research vessel for Taiwan Ocean Research Institute, National Applied Research Laboratories (TORI), and two wind farm crew transfer vessels and one high speed passenger ferry for new clients based in UK and New Caledonia.

“Over the past year, ont only were we able to swiftly grow our orderbook, but we have also diversified our client and product mix, entrenching ourselves further in new areas such as the renewable engery sector, we will continue to extend the reputation we have established in the O&G sector to strengthen our position in new industries with good growth opportunities,” said Chan Eng Yew, ceo of Triyards.
