Dubai: Trucking prices fell from Abu Dhabi ports by about 30% during the first four months of this year. The fees have now stabilised at between AED800 and 1,000 from Khalifa Port, and between AED500 and 600 from Zayed Port to most areas of the emirate.
Shipping industry officials in the emirate said that the period from the beginning of the year has seen successive reductions by companies to reduce prices from record levels exceeding AED1,500 per truck. [14/05/13]
