Tsakos eyes shunned Patricia Schulte

Has the 2,800 teu, 10-year-old Patricia Schulte finally found an owner willing to open up his wallet? The boxship, owned by Hamburg-based Thomas Schulte Reederei, has been on the market for a while and has been linked for around $8m to a couple of owners in recent weeks – Borealis Maritime and KMTC – both of which deals never materialised.

This week sources tell Splash that Greece’s Tsakos is now looking at the ship with a lower bid in mind.
