Manila: Celebrating its 20th anniversary in the Philippines, Japan’s Tsuneishi Heavy Industries has vowed to bolster its yard in Balamban, Cebu as it expands across Southeast Asia with a likely new facility in Indonesia.
“THICI is looking forward to capitalising on the Philippine’s economic growth by becoming the mother shipyard among Southeast Asian countries with Balamban being the shipbuilding capital of the Philippines from now on,” said THICI president Hitoshi Kono. [01/12/14]
