Oslo: London-headquartered Tufton Oceanic, a private equity player, is tipped to be the buyer of the Kaspar Schulte, a 2004-built, 72,700 dwt product tanker. The ship is in one of two product tanker in Bernhard Schulte’s fleet list.
The price for the vessel varies. One broker claims it has gone for $21.4m, while another reckons it has been priced at $21m. The sale is yet to be finalised.
If the sale is finalised, Bernhard Schulte’s tanker section is left with about 30 tankers including gas, crude and chemical carriers.
