Norwegian short sea specialist Wilson has announced the acquisition of two bulk carriers and the sale of another.
The company has acquired a pair of 5,000 dwt bulkers, the 2007-built Lauren C and 2008-built Nicole C, from UK-based Carisbrooke Shipping. The vessels are set for delivery in the first quarter of 2020.
Separately, Wilson says it has entered into an agreement so sell 1975-built 6,258 dwt bulker Wilson Reef. Delivery of the vessel is also scheduled for the first quarter of 2020.
Wilson currently owns a fleet of 88 vessels, and operates over 110 ships in total.
