TYM Group orders jack-up pair at China Merchants Industry

Singapore’s Thong Yong Marine Group (TYM Group) has signed contracts with China Merchants Industry for the construction of two jack-up platforms, with options to order two more.

The construction of the GustoMSC-designed platforms will start in July 2016. Other contract details were not revealed.

TYM Group focuses on vessel chartering and logistics support to the dredging industry. It ordered two jack-up platforms at China Merchants Industry in December 2014 announcing its entry into the offshore oilfield services and offshore wind power installation sectors.
