Uljanik Plovidba changes name to Alpha Adriatic

Locally listed Croatian shipowner Uljanik Plovidba is changing its name to Alpha Adriatic to avoid it being linked to a struggling compatriot shipyard.

Croatian shipbuilding group Uljanik, which has no ties with the owner, has been going through bankruptcy proceedings since May.

Uljanik Plovidba has four bulkers and two handy tankers in its fleet.
