UMW awarded jackup contract by Petrofac

Malaysian offshore driller UMW Oil & Gas has received a letter of award from British oil company Petrofac for the provision of a jackup drilling rig.

UMW will assign the UMV Naga 5 drilling rig for the contract, which is for the drilling of two wells firm with two additional one-well options. Work will start in the second quarter of 2017.

Last Friday, UMW received a letter of award from Vestigo Petroleum for the provision jackup rig UMW Naga 2.
