Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has agreed to an extended of the present time charter contract with Uniper Global Commodities for 2013-built post-panamax bulker Electra.
.The extension, which commenced on October 19, is at a rate of $13,500 per day through to between September 2019 and December 2019. Uniper was previously paying $8,000 per day for the vessel.
Diana Shipping says the extension will generate around $4.4m gross revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
