Uniper takes Diana Shipping panamax on charter

Diana Shipping has announced that 2010-built panamax Leto has entered into a new time charter contract with Uniper Global Commodities.

The vessel begins its new charter today, for a period of 11-13 months at a rate of $13,000 per day. Previously, the vessel was on charter to Glencore at $12,500 per day.

Diana Shipping says the new charter will generate around $4.29m of gross revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
