Vallianz dragged into Swiber-linked lawsuits

Vallianz Holdings’ erstwhile link to bust Swiber Holdings continues to hurt. Vallianz is facing two lawsuits in India over a project that involved Swiber Offshore (India) and India’s state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).

Furthermore, Vallianz Offshore Marine and an indirect subsidiary have been named as defendants – along with Swiber Offshore Construction and Newcruz Offshore Marine – in a lawsuit by ASL Shipyard Indonesia.

Swiber, which had a 25% stake in listed Vallianz, sought judicial management at the end of July.
