Velesto seals Roc Oil jackup deal

Offshore drilling unit of Velesto Energy has secured a new contract with Roc Oil (Sarawak) for one of its jackup drilling rigs.

The $14m contract will see the 2009-built premium jackup Naga 2 utilised to drill three firm wells.

Velesto is Malaysia’s largest owner and operator of jackup rigs with six owned units in its fleet and four hydraulic workover units.
