Viking Supply Ships caught up in insider trading investigation

Norwegian offshore ship operator Viking Supply Ships has announced that the Swedish Economic Crime Authority is investigating possible insider trading in the company’s shares.

Several people are being investigated, including a former employee of Viking Supply Ships.

“VSS is in contact with the Swedish Economic Crime Authority and intends to cooperate fully with the investigation,” the company said in a release.

Viking Supply Ships is currently listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
