Viking Supply Ships sells PSV trio

Swedish OSV operator Viking Supply Ships has entered into an agreement to sell three platform supply vessels, 2007-built Freyja Viking and 2006-built Nanna Viking and Sol Viking.

All three vessels have been in cold layup and they will be delivered to an undisclosed new owner in July after reactivation.

The sale is expected to result in a loss of $12m for the company.

Following the disposal, Viking Supply Ships will have a fleet of nine offshore vessels.
