Vroon bags Total PSV contracts

Vroon Offshore Services has been awarded a multi-year charter for two PX-121 platform supply vessels (PSVs), supporting Total’s operations on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS).

Vroon’s PX-121-type PSVs have been trading in the UKCS since their delivery in 2015 and 2016, supporting a number of North Sea clients in both the spot market and on term contracts. The first vessel will begin duties with Total next month, with the second due to commence operations in September. Both contracts are for a firm period of three years, with options available thereafter.

Vroon cited the modern vessel design, featuring feature an Ulstein-patented X-Bow, as part of the reason for the contract win.
