Vroon secures ship management contract

Dutch owner Vroon has announced that its ship management unit VOS Singapore has secured a third-party ship management contract with Bruneian OSV owner Lantana Services.

The contract is for 2011-built AHTS vessel Ena Shogun, which will commence a one-year project with a Bruneian oil company primarily supporting semi-submersible rigs in their fleet.

“This exciting contract provides us with a strengthened platform to position Vroon Offshore Services in the Brunei workboat market with one of our best disciplines, that of ship management,” Vroon said in a release.

Vroon owns a large OSV fleet of 92 vessels through its subsidiary Vroon Offshore services.
