Weihai Jiaodong puts roro ship up for sale

Weihai Jiaodong International Container Shipping, a subsidiary of Weihai Port, has put its 1991-built roro ship Grand Peace up for sale.

The Japanese-built vessel is capable of carrying up to 750 passenger and 214 teu of containers.

Weihai Jiaodong recently took delivery of newbuild roro ship New Grand Peace from AVIC Weihai Shipyard to replace the elderly Grand Peace. The new ship has increased container carrying capacity by 45%, and will be deployed on the route between Weihai and South Korean.
