West Libya port hit by air strikes

Cairo: Zuwara port in western Libya was hit by airstrikes yesterday.

Eight people were killed by bombings elsewhere in the country on Tuesday, AP reports.

The strikes were carried out by Libya’s internationally recognised government, which has been meeting in eastern Libya. Islamist-led militias have taken control of Tripoli and formed their own government. [3/12/14]
