Westports contract extension

Kuala Lumpur: Port Klang Authority (PKA) has extended the concession period for Westports Holdings by another 30 years. The extra concession stretches from 2024 to 2054.

Westports, controlled by Hutchison Port Holdings, said the extension was subject to the terms and conditions as set out in the privatisation agreement dated July 25, 1994 and the supplemental agreements executed thereafter, between the government, PKA and Westports Malaysia.  [30/06/14]
