Westports outlines expansion plans

Kuala Lumpur: Westports, which forms part of Port Klang in Malaysia, has outlined its expansion plans which will see a further 300 m of quayside added to container terminal six as well as a brand new 600 m long seventh terminal ready by next year.
The expansion will increase the terminal’s capacity to more than 10m teu.
Westports has targeted 7.4m teu this year, up around 7.5% from last year’s 6.91m teu.  [17/01/13]
