Wikborg leaves DHT Holdings

Oslo: New York-listed owner DHT Holdings has told investors that Rolf Wikborg has left the board of board of directors. Wikborg had served the company a decade.

“We wish to thank Rolf for his valuable contributions through some 10 years of service,” the operator said.

The tanker owner did not elaborate why Wikborg resigned.

Wikborg was one of the founders of AMA Capital Partners, a maritime merchant banking group based in New York, which he left in 2011.

Wikborg has been a member of Western Bulk’s board of directors since 2010  and manages his own merchant banking practice, Wikborg Sons.
