Wilhelmsen ups stake to become majority owner of NorSea

Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding has entered into a letter of intent with Eidesvik Eiendomsinvest and Simon Møkster Eiendom to acquire 32% of offshore supply base and logistics firm NorSea Group.

Wilhelmsen says the transaction should be finalised within a couple of months, making it the majority owner with a 72% stake. Eidesvik and Møkster will each hold around 12% each, while management holds the remaining 4%.

NorSea operates five supply bases along the Norwegian coast and three in the UK.
