Wilson heads back to Wuxue Janda for bulker pair

Norwegian short sea operator Wilson has ordered a pair of 2,600 dwt bulkers at Chinese shipyard Wuxue Janda Shipbuilding.

Wilson is paying €4m ($5m) per ship and delivery is expected during 2019. The agreement is subject to a refund guarantee being obtained by the yard.
 
Wilson ordered similar ships at Wuxue Janda before in a three-ship order, with two delivered and a third due in the second quarter of 2018.
 
Wilson currently operates a fleet of 118 vessels, of which 82 are owned.
