Norwegian short sea specialist Wilson has entered into an agreement to acquire 2008-built 3,605dwt bulker Aveiro for €3.475m ($4.06m).
for €3.475m ($4.06m).Equasis lists the current owner of the vessel as Germany’s Kapitan Siegfried Bojen-Schiffahrtsbetrieb, although it has been on charter to Wilson.
Wilson says it expects to take delivery of the vessel before the end of September, when it will be renamed.
The acquisition increase Wilson’s operating fleet to 118 vessels, of which 82 are owned.
