Winson seals firm price offloading vintage tanker

Low profile Chinese outfit Forever Fortune Shipping has made a rare move in the secondhand market.

Sources say the Jiangsu-based company has paid $7.5m for the 20-year-old, 45,000 dwt Ocean Topaz. The product tanker was sold by Taiwanese owner Winson who appear to have achieved a firm price with VesselsValue setting a market value for the vintage vessel of just $6m .

22-ship stong Winson has been continually wheeling and dealing, buying and selling a string of ships in the last couple of years.
