Wisdom Marine orders ultramax pair at DACKS

Taiwanese bulker operator Wisdom Marine has placed an order at Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering (DACKS) for the construction of two ultramax bulkers.

According to shipbroking sources, the two 61,530 dwt newbuildings are scheduled for delivery in 2020. The price for each vessel is around $30m.

Wisdom Marine has been expanding its fleet this year, having ordered three 82,400 dwt kamsarmax bulkers at Japan Marine United and two 37,800 dwt bulkers at Imabari Shipbuilding.
